Anarchist.AU is a fediverse instance for people interested in anarchism and the stolen land known as Australia. You do not have to be an anarchist and you do not have to live here to join, but you must understand that the rules are formulated under the assumption that you are.

Anarchist.AU runs FediFetcher once every minute to backfill replies from remote servers. FediFetcher fetches replies to posts that I (Kali) would see on my timeline. There is a good chance who I follow will overlap with other users on this instance, but if it doesn't you can also set it up yourself (it's just a python script).

Signups

Signups are public. To sign up you need an email address, username, password, and one or two sentences saying why you want to join (to prevent trolls and bots).

Update (11th Feb 25): Politics CWs are now required. I recommend you use a regional CW such as "auspol" for Australian politics, and just "pol" or "politics" for world politics.
